Hello! My artist name is Pastelle and I am a professional singer and composer. I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Music in 2016, as well as a Foundation Certificate in Sound Technology. I have been writing songs, producing music and collaborating with other artists online (and offline) since 2008!Most of my original music and cover songs can be found on my YouTube channel. I'm also a Twitch streamer and video editor, and I've participated in voice work for Youtube videos, video game mods, professional tutorials, and audiobook narrations!I am employed by Off the Beaten Path, a production company based in Calgary, Canada. Music is a huge part of who I am. I've been writing and releasing songs for over fifteen years, though most of my very early tracks can only be found in personal folders and spare hard drives!In April of 2020, I released my first album called Flora & Fauna. It is a catalog of music greatly inspired by the ocean, technology, and our planet. This project is not only categorized by its ethereal vocals and ambient instrumentals, but also its lyrics, which center heavily around nature.Biosignature is my follow-up EP, which projects an entirely different soundscape and world build to Flora and Fauna. Inspired by vaporwave, synthwave and blossoming new tech, this project centers around artificial intelligence, dystopia and cosmic exploration.In addition to creating ambient music with angelic vocals, I am hopelessly inspired by other artists and I love to create my own covers of songs I enjoy and admire! My sound is fluid and frequently transitions between electronic, dark pop and R&B.

I have studied music history for much of my adult life, and continue to learn how to adapt beautiful, ancient instruments into my compositions. I am completely solo under this alias, and I release my ambient, space-inspired tracks on Soundcloud.Some Elvenstar tracks become demos that are eventually polished and released under my main alias, Pastelle.
